Cats in the Cradle Rescue was formed in June 2011 to help reduce the cat overpopulation of feral and stray domestic cats. Cats in the Cradle Rescue is a 501(c)3 organization that is staffed by the founding members and volunteers who graciously give their time and open their homes to help CITCR accomplish our mission..
With over 25+ years of combined experience working with animal rescue operations, animal rehabilitation and pet adoptions, the team at CITCR know a thing or two about cat rescue. Every day the management team and volunteers donate the time and resources to meet the needs of cats across NYC.
As you can imagine, running a cat rescue takes a lot of time, energy and resources. Many of the the things that we do each day would not be possible without the donations from individuals and organizations around the globe who believe in the work that we are doing.
So exactly who are our cat clients ? Cats from all over the local NYC area that we serve! Each day we find cats in need of food, water, shelter and medical care and provide a variety of services depending on what is needed. To learn more about our cats, click on the link below.
